Can someone tell me what I have missed? First off, what is Palestinian Culture? I don'' recall there ever being a people or country called Palestine. I know there was a region of Palestine. I know that until the UN partitioned the region these "palestinians" were mainly Jordanians. Once again, what is the culture of palestinians?
As for their ideology, if they are referring to the self titled "palestinian" that was invented in the 1960's, what proof does Mahmoud Abbas have that they have been peaceful? Hamas? Fatah? Yassir Arafat? Islamic Jihad? Al-Aqsa Martyrs? PLO? PA? Which of these pushed for peace with Israel? How can Mahmoud Abbas blatantly lie and keep a straight face?
How can this man lie to the world and the world just accept it knowing he is a liar? How does lying to the world get one recognized as a moderate? As someone who can be dealt with? Hamas has to be loving this. They don't have to lie as much because Abbas does it all for them.
If I were to judge "palestinians" on their history of the past 60 years they are murderers, thieves, and liars. That is what their history proves. I don't know who Abbas is referring to but it definitely isn't himself or those he claims to represent. The people, and ideology, he is talking about definitely don't exist within the imaginary "palestinian" culture.
