Israel has copied the west too much. Israel has learned how to ignore truth and fact. It has learned how to follow the most fantastical of ideologies and convince itself that it will work. Failure after failure, and Israel continues to do the same thing over and over. In many circles this would define insanity.
Israeli politicians still want to cede land for that unattainable peace. This despite the fact that the enemy gives up nothing and gains everything. The enemy is able to destroy Israel piece by piece with the help of Israel itself.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's comments about Israel needing to make a nearly complete withdrawal to the pre-1967-lines will certainly be a reference pointing the future, although Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni have insisted they are not binding, EU envoy Marc Otte told the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.
"Everyone who has been engaged in the negotiations is bound to come to that sort of conclusion," Otte said, adding that - as Olmert did in the interview - it is not easy for anyone to say that the positions he held before were wrong.
It is definitely hard to admit that the failed policy of land for peace has killed many Israelis and "palestinians" all in the name of a faux peace and fraudulant diplomacy.
On Monday, Israeli defense officials said Israel was in advanced talks with the UN on the plan, in which the IDF would be replaced by UNIFIL troops, and the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) would not be able to enter the village. Israel suspects LAF have been filled with Hizbullah supporters.
Retreat and surrender seems to be the words for the day. UNIFIL has done such a great job til this point. Did everybody forget the recent revelations of Italy? What makes anyone believe that Italy was the only nation to make deals with the terrorists?
Slowly but surely Israel is giving itself away. Israel seems to be doing a better job of wiping themselves from the map than any islamic terrorist ever could.
