All we keep hearing from the "palestinians", Israeli government, and Western diplomats is how the two-state solution will solve a major portion of the Middle East problems. The truth of the matter is that the Western Diplomats, "palestinians" and the Israeli government believe they NEED a two-state answer.
The "palestinians" need it, especially Mahmoud Abbas, to show that they have defeated the Zionist entity once again. The Israeli government needs it so they can "stick it" to us nay-sayers. The Western Diplomats need it so they can "tackle" some other illegitimate issue.
The two-state solution solves nothing. All it does is provide the "palestinians" with more propaganda and a base of operations to kill Israelis. If the two-state solution were to be in place tomorrow, Iranians and Syrians would be sending weapons to Hamas in the West Bank if they aren't already. More than likely Hamas would end up taking control of the West Bank just like they did in Gaza. Except this would be easier. Mahmoud Abbas would be dead and the western world would have lost their propped up dictator.
Hamas has not changed it's charter. In fact, Hizbollah and Islamic Jihad would be brought into the "governmental" fold and the Israeli government would be sitting in session wondering what happened?
The two-state solution is a farce at best and suicide at worst. Send Abbas and the PLO packing and take what rightfully belongs to Israel. Allowing the islamist to live on your doorstep only ensures future doom.
